Zygnematales
ordo dari ganggang hijau
Zygnematales adalah sebuah ordo dari ganggang hijau. Genera yang cukup dikenal dan terbesar dari ordo ini adalah Zygnema, Mougeotia, dan Spirogyra.[1] Semua anggota grup ini berkembang menjadi filamen tak bercabang, satu sel tebal, yang tumbuh lebih panjang melalui pembelahan sel normal. Kebanyakan spesies dari ordo ini yang ditemukan di Amerika Utara, tinggal di air tawar atau subaerial.[1]
