This template is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code uz to include articles in Category:Articles containing bahasa Uzbek-language text, if the category was created (using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |bahasa Uzbek |uz}}). For example: {{Lang |uz |some text in bahasa Uzbek}}, which wraps the text with <span lang="uz">. Also available is {{Lang-uz |some text in bahasa Uzbek}} which displays as bahasa Uzbek: some text in bahasa Uzbek.
It is used by {{uz icon}}, possibly {{uz}}, and {{Link language|uz}} to display the language of an external link. These templates could add articles to Category:Articles with bahasa Uzbek-language external links, if the category was created (using {{Non-English-language external links category |code=uz |name=bahasa Uzbek}}).
