Steve Hackett
Stephen Richard "Steve" Hackett (lahir 12 Februari 1950) adalah seorang gitaris dan penulis lagu asal Inggris. Ia adalah mantan anggota Genesis namun hengkang setelah album Wind & Wuthering. Di Genesis, Hackett berkontribusi dalam enam album studio, tiga album live, dan tujuh single. Selama bergabung di Genesis, Hackett telah pula menghasilkan beberapa album solo.

Pada tahun 1986, Hackett bersama-sama dengan Steve Howe (gitaris grup band progressive rock Yes dan Asia)mendirikan supergrup GTR. Pada tahun itu juga GTR merilis album studio yang berjudul sama dengan nama band tersebut. Album ini mencapai posisi tertingginya di posisi #11 pada tangga lagu Billboard 200 di Amerika Serikat. Album ini juga menelurkan single "When The Heart Rules The Mind" yang sukses menembus daftar top 20 single. Setelah Hackett meninggalkan GTR pada tahun 1987, band ini pun bubar.
Setelah meninggalkan GTR, Hackett melanjutkan bersolo karier dan merilis sejumlah album dan mengadakan tur musik secara teratur. Karya-karya Hackett mencakup banyak aliran musik, di antaranya progressive rock, world music, dan klasikal. Gaya permainan gitar Hackett telah mempengaruhi banyak gitaris besar di dunia, di antaranya Eddie Van Halen, Alex Lifeson, Brian May, dan Steve Rothery. Pada tahun 2010, ia dinobatkan untuk masuk ke dalam daftar Rock and Roll Hall of Fame sebagai salah seorang personel Genesis.
