Sabra (orang)

Sabra (Ibrani: צבר, tzabar) adalah orang Yahudi yang lahir di Israel. Istilah tersebut pertama kali muncul pada 1930-an untuk merujuk kepada orang Yahudi yang lahir di tanah Israel (meliputi Palestina Mandat Inggris dan Palestina Utsmaniyah; lihat Yishuv Baru & Yishuv Lama). Sejak pendirian Negara Israel pada 1948, bangsa Israel memakai kata tersebut untuk merujuk kepada orang Yahudi yang lahir di belahan manapun di negara tersebut.^[1]^[2]
