Michael Keaton
Michael John Douglas (lahir 5 September 1951)[1] secara profesional dikenal sebagai Michael Keaton, adalah seorang aktor asal Amerika Serikat. Kehidupan awal sunting
Michael John Douglas, anak bungsu dari tujuh bersaudara, lahir di Ohio Valley Hospital di Kennedy Township, Pennsylvania.[5] Ia dibesarkan di antara McKees Rocks,[6] Coraopolis dan Robinson Township, Pennsylvania.[7][8] Ayahnya, George A. Douglas (1905–1977), bekerja sebagai insinyur sipil dan surveyor, dan ibunya, Leona Elizabeth (née Loftus; 1909–2002), adalah seorang ibu rumah tangga, dan berasal dari McKees Rocks.[1][9] Keaton dibesarkan dalam keluarga Katolik.[10] Ibunya merupakan keturunan Irlandia,[10][11][12] sementara ayahnya keturunan Skotlandia-Irlandia, Jerman dan Inggris, dan berasal dari keluarga Protestan.[13][14][15] Keaton bersekolah di SMA Montour di Robinson Township, Pennsylvania.[16] Dia lulus di Kelas 1969, dan belajar Pidato selama dua tahun di Universitas Negeri Kent, di mana dia tampil dalam drama, dan kembali ke Pennsylvania untuk mengejar karirnya.[17]

Keaton menikah dengan Caroline McWilliams dari tahun 1982 hingga 1990. Mereka memiliki seorang putra, Sean, lahir pada tahun 1983. Dia memiliki hubungan dengan aktris Courteney Cox dari tahun 1990 hingga 1995.
Keaton, penduduk lama Pittsburgh dan penggemar tim olahraganya, menegosiasikan pemutusan kontrak film Batman-nya jika Pittsburgh Pirates berhasil lolos ke babak playoff tahun itu, meskipun pada akhirnya tidak. Dia juga menulis blog ESPN di Pirates selama bulan-bulan terakhir musim 2013 mereka.[18]

Pada 2019, ia muncul dalam kampanye iklan PETA, meminta wisatawan untuk tidak mengunjungi operasi yang mengeksploitasi hewan, seperti kebun binatang pinggir jalan yang terkadang menawarkan kesempatan untuk selfie dengan hewan liar.[23]
