Kemartiran Polikarpus
Kemartiran Polikarpus adalah salah satu karya Bapa-Bapa Apostolik, dan salah satu penulisan dari masa penindasan. Polikarpus adalah Uskup Smyrna pada sekitar tahun 155-160 M (mungkin 170-180 M). Surat tersebut secara keseluruhan mengambil pengaruh dari teks-teks kemartiran Yahudi dalam Perjanjian Lama dan Injil-injil. Selain itu, Kemartiran Polikarpus mempromosikan ideologi kemartiran, dengan memajukan kisah martir.
