Chaos and Creation in the Backyard adalah album oleh Paul McCartney yang diterbitkan pada 2005 dengan produser Nigel Godrich. McCartney memainkan hampir semua alat musik, mirip dengan kedua album solonya yang pertama, McCartney dan McCartney II. Sampulnya adalah foto McCartney sedang bermain gitar di halaman belakang rumah keluarganya di Liverpool, diambil oleh saudaranya Mike McCartney dan diberi judul Paul Under Washing dan kemudian diubah menjadi Our Kid Through Mum's Net Curtains.
