Belut congor bebek ( Nettastoma parviceps ) juga dikenal sebagai belut moncong pendek atau belut paruh bebek , [2] adalah belut dalam famili Nettastomatidae (belut paruh bebek/belut penyihir). [3] Hal ini dijelaskan oleh Albert Günther pada tahun 1877. [4] Ini adalah belut laut yang hidup di perairan dalam yang dikenal dari Indo-Pasifik dan tenggara Samudra Pasifik, termasuk Jepang, Hawaii, Australia timur, Afrika tenggara, dan Chili . Ia hidup pada kisaran kedalaman 60–1190 meter, dan mendiami landas kontinen dan lereng. Jantan dapat mencapai panjang total maksimal 82 sentimeter. [3]
